This is a complete modern upgraded shock set. No extra holes are required. The upper shock brackets use the original shock mounting holes on the frame, and the lower brackets clamp on the front axles and the rear axle. No other modifications are needed, and do not require the rear backing plate to be removed for installation. This set includes 4 modern shocks, all of the mounting hardware, and mounting brackets.
