When it's time to change the oil pump, this long body pump for flatheads is a high-quality replacement. Its design will help keep your vintage engine well lubricated for years to come. Suitable for 221, 239 and 255 CI flatheads with higher oil volume demands. May require oil pan modification (see below). Length: Top Drive Gear to Base: 9-3/4 inch Mount Surface to Base: 5-1/2 inch Note: High volume pump is 1-1/4 inch longer than stock pumps in 1949-53 flatheads (type 8BA, 8CM, 8RT, EAB or EAC). Oil pan must be modified to accommodate the increased length.
