This is not an original replacement part! It is a mix of a Mustang style master cylinder with an Early Ford mounting flange to offer dual reservoir braking on your Early Ford. Bolting Flange Fits 1939-48 Ford and Merc pass. car, 1939-1947 1/2 ton pick up, 1948-52 F1 pick up A long-time problem in the industry finally solved! No more need to create new mounting brackets, or fabricate adapters. Outlets are on the Passenger (Right Hand) side. Made with 1 inch bore for smooth braking on Early Ford cars and made without residuals to suit Disc/Drum or Drum/Drum applications. Includes dust boot A long time in the making and a much needed part for the industry. New replacement, mustang style master cylinder body with 1 inch bore to suit 3 bolt flanges, includes the dust boot. Will fit 39 - 48 Ford passenger car and 48 - 52 pick up. (Floor / body modifications may be required on some models to accommodate the different body shape.) SOLD EACH There are no residuals built into this master, you will need to use in-line residuals for proper brake equalization. We recommend 10 psi (11944) for drum brakes and 2 psi (11944-2) for disc brakes. Use 1 per main line off master cylinder.
