it gives you a larger bore mounting gasket and machined bolts that allow the carb to pivot. By pivoting the carburetor, the Model A choke rod will align. U.S.A. Only needed if you are using a "B" intake with a "B" Zenith carburetor on a model A motor. If you are using the model A intake with the B carb, these are not needed.
